Captain American and Gail Guirrer-Maslyk
Cloverlone Broodmare Farm is home to many new exciting equine adventures. Cloverlone's first and longest endeavor, the collection of Spotted Holsteiners has made it to down to 4% appaloosa in the new Holsteiner sport stud colt, Captain America. He has his sire's fluid movement and his dam's balance, steadiness and strong hind leg. Cappy shows strong dressage talent as well as the confidence of a hunter or jumper. He will start showing in hand in 2009 at Upperville.
Another important spotted Holsteiner is VicTaurus. She's a few spot (white with black spots) v. Livingstone (v. Landgraf) - White Shoulders v. Locksley Spotlight (Churchill). She's a tall mare with large shoulder and three strong gaits. Her under saddle training begins this spring. She will be bred via embryo transfer in the future once the ideal stallion has been picked.

R-Saluut II and Margie Engle
Elder statesman, R Saluut II (b. 1981) comes to stand at Cloverlone in 2009. He has stall #1 in the new barn and enjoys a paddock of green grass. He has gained weight well this season and catching his mares on a single cycle! Dr. Ley manages his mares on sight in order to keep the collections to a minimum. Semen will not be shipped. He is bred to three excellent Holsteiner mares for 2010 foals.

Wait and see!!! Ever think the equine industry was the hardest industry to run a profitable business? You are not alone. In a 25 billion dollar industry there is room for words like 'market share', 'job security' and 'health care'. Better Horse Business, an Equine Access LLC project, will provide a safe place in the equine industry for newcomers and a haven for those that have struggled for years to find answers.
